Ideal type of home: I would love a family with children that I can run and play with. You know, a dog is a child's best friend! I can't wait to find the right family for me!
Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I miss my family so much and I don't understand, but my owner was allergic to me so he brought me to the MS Animal Rescue League. They have cared for me, but I really need my own family to love and play with me because a cage is no place to call home.

My Story

I am a great dog who loves EVERYBODY! I will make a wonderful house dog and a great family pet. I love to run and play and could really enjoy a backyard. The folks at Dogs Need Homes... and sometimes cats can't say enough good things about me, because I appear to be a beautiful pure bred dog who is in desperate need of a home. Please come by to play with me, if only for a minute. Even if you can't take me home, at least come give me some exercise and a loving hand.

Interaction with Kids: I get pretty excited with people so I may be a little rough for very small children, but I am great with older kids!

Ideal type of home: I would love an active home where I can go for walks and run and play! I think I could really enjoy hiking and maybe cycling, or even just a nice yard.

My Story

I was brought to the shelter with my 9 brothers and sisters when we were only a few days old. The owner doesn't believe in spaying his dog so when she has puppies, he just dumps them. Luckily for us, we were dumped at CARA. They took us in and the shelter staff bottle raised all 10 of us! I got the joy of seeing all of my brothers and sisters go to their new homes, but I don't understand why I am still here. I am a good girl who loves children, I walk well on a leash and I get along wonderfully with other dogs! What's Not to Love?

Please help CARA close the final chapter of me and my siblings, they would love to call me the Happy Ending!

Ideal type of home: I would love a home that is settled and preferably with no children. A lap to sit in and get petted all day would be right up my alley.
Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: My owner got a new home and kept me crated all of the time. I guess they decided that they didn't want me any more because they brought me to CARA about a year ago. Oh how I long for my family, I just want a family of my own to love forever. Is that too much for a handsome dog to want? I came in all itchy with a flea allergy, but the good folks at CARA fixed me up and no more itching! People say that I am very cute and only have one eye, but I can't tell what they are talking about, it doesn't slow me down one bit.

My Story
