Ideal type of home: Any- I would love anyone who could open
their heart to me! I love to play, I love to sit and get petted, I am good with
other dogs and cats, kids, and older people. I am almost perfect!
Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: My owner was terribly
excited about getting a new puppy, but then when she realized that puppies don't
automatically know how to act like a well trained dog, she brought me to CARA and
gave me up. I miss her so much!
My Story
Sadly, my story is one that happens often. People think that it would be great fun to have a puppy until they find out that we require a little work and patience, just like children do, to grow up to be a well mannered member of the family. With a little guidance and a lot of love, we are SO worth it! I am still just a baby so I hope that my next home is my forever home because it so hard on us, little pups, to get to know a new owner and then get dumped again. Please come visit me, I know that I will warm your heart because I am so cute and sweet!

I love kids, dogs, and cats! The folks here at CARA think that I must have belonged
to someone, but no one ever came to claim me. Any home would be good, but I could
especially love a home with older people, simply because I would love to sit in
your lap all day and get petted. Come to think of it. . . I could also love a home
with children to play with. . . Oh Well- I am so easy to get along with that ANY
home would be GREAT!

Magee area.
My Story
A very nice lady found me roaming out in the country so she brought me to CARA where I have been for two weeks. Everyone comments on how loving I am because I love to sit in anyone's lap. I just curl up and enjoy being with people. Please come and see me, I know you would love me because I am just SO special!

Ideal type of home: Any loving home with a fenced yard and a loving
family. You know, Australian Shepherds are known for being extremely smart and easy
to train. We are great dogs for homes with a lot of acreage (though it doesn't have
to be) and we are often used in obedience and agility training because we are so
intelligent and willing to learn. We are herding dogs by nature. Not known for being
hyper but can have great stamina.
Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I was found homeless
and thankfully got rescued off of the streets
My Story
I am a young, sweet girl who desperately needs a home. I must have belonged to someone because I am so friendly. The good folks at MARL have taken me in and been good to me, but I am looking for my new owner. A shelter is no place for a sweet puppy because I need lots of love and someone to play with.
