Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: These pups have
a wonderful story. Unlike most puppies who roam the streets, these pups had a savior,
a Christmas Angel! Right before Christmas these babies were cold, hungry, and scared
because they were homeless and roaming the Jackson streets. A caring stranger picked
them up and with the help of the good folks at ARF, they have been placed in a foster
home.
Our Story
These wonderful folks who have been fostering Buddy and Francesca have taught them the most important of "good dog" behaviors. They are both house trained, social, playful, and know basic commands. They are very sweet and silly little pups who thrive on pleasing people. Please help these sweet little pups find their forever home where they can be a part of a family and loved until the day they die at hopefully a very old age. God has smiled down on these guys and given them a chance at a good life, compared to the painful and scary life they could have had. Please help Buddy and Francesca's story to have a happy ending!

Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I was a drop and
run at CARA, someone left me in a crate in the parking lot and I was found the next
morning.
My Story
I am a very sweet boy! I love to run and play and I LOVE kids! In fact, I would be a boy's (or girl's) best friend! I have a lot of love to give and a shelter is no place that I can let my darling personality shine. Puppies belong with someone loving to teach me the good things in life and in a shelter I kind of get lost in the mix. Please don't let me grow up and not know a person's true love! I hear that people are really swell and I hope that one sweet soul will come in and play with me. I know you would love me first sight!

Meet Rev
Where dog is located now:
CARA
Name: Rev
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
Breed: Pug
Color: Black
Size: Small
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
House Trained: Yes
Medical Information: Healthy
Interaction with Kids: Good
Interaction with Dogs: Good
Interaction with Cats: Good
Ideal type of home: Any home is great, but I would love to live
with someone who is familiar with Pugs. Pugs do well with people who are calm and
confident and consistent with rules. We are people pleasers and typically do very
well with children. We are also a breed that is known for being a good family pet
and watch dog.
Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: My owner left town
suddenly and left me behind at our house. I was scared and hungry but I wouldn't
leave because I just knew they would be back to get me at any time. I just don't
understand how they could "forget" me. I was a good dog, well mannered, and house
trained!
My Story
My neighbors started looking out for me when they realized that my family left me. Thankfully, they were kind enough to bring me to CARA with hopes that someone would give me a new home and love me until I am old. I am extremely loveable and I love kids, dogs and cats. People tell me that I have a very sweet and endearing look about me because my tongue hangs out of my mouth sometimes. My old owners did all of the hard work of teaching me social skills and house training me, so I would be the perfect dog for someone looking for a companion- all of the hard work is already done! Pugs can live typically 12-15 years, so I have a lot of good years ahead of me!
