My Story
Hi! My name is Peanut because I am the runt of the litter. No, I am not the giant Great Dane in the picture, I am the small one...aren't I cute? I was found at a farm in North Mississippi along with my 6 siblings. Our mama was no where to be found and we were just surviving on grass and sunshine. I may look small, but I have a great bold personality and I love to be the center of attention. I am currently being foster by a family who volunteers at ARF and since they have opened their hearts to me I learned that I love family life! My favorite thing is to be held as much as possible. The sweet little girl here even puts girlie doll clothes on me. We are having a blast here, but I need a forever home of my own where I can settle in and be happy forever!

Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I was brought the
ARF shelter when I was found wandering down a highway by a kind stranger. I was
starving for food and human compassion.
My Story
I am a wonderfully sweet and smart boy! I am very calm, not a chewer and not aggressive. Also, they say that I am quickly and easily trained and that I would be well suited as a therapy dog or competition obedience or Rally. I am full of love to give and I have a heart the size of the MS Delta. I simply want to be loved and please my family. Since I am so smart I have already been house trained, crate trained, and have learned several basic commands. Anyone interested in a family pet or a life-long pal would be crazy not to adopt me because a dog just doesn't get any better!

Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter:I had been at the
shelter for some time and then thanks to the "Dogs Need Homes" rescue e-newsletter,
I got adopted. However, I did not get along very well with the existing dog in the
home, so they had to return me to MARL. Thankfully, I now have a second chance at
finding my forever home. I am a darling sweet girl who has a lot of love to give
if given a chance. I will make a wonderful pet, but I just have to find the right
home for me. So, if you think you might be it, and I hope you are, please come visit
me at MARL. They will help you to determine if I will fit in at your home.
