Meet Crystal and Rocky
Where dogs are located now:
CARA Our StoryOur owner just found out that she is pregnant and she didn't want the responsibility and expense of our up keep. Poodles really should be indoor pets, but she kept us outdoors for the last year, which is likely how I (Crystal) contracted heartworms. My treatment is simple and it is certainly curable. Thankfully, my brother, Rocky, managed to avoid getting heartworms. We are very attached to each other and therefore we really need to stay together, but we have very sweet and intelligent temperaments and will make someone wonderful companions! Where dog is located now:
CARA My StoryThey don't know much about me at CARA, besides the fact that I am about as cute as they come and I appear to be a pure-bred Cocker Spaniel. My owner gave me up and didn't leave a lot of information besides that they were moving. I am an awfully sweet guy who really doesn't enjoy shelter life, so I really hope my plea reaches the right person and you will come to my rescue! I would really love to be snuggling with you on your couch this afternoon. Contact Name & Number for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Angel
Where cat is located now:
CARA My StoryI was left at the doorstep at a local VET clinic so no one really knows anything about my past except that I once had a home because I am perfectly healthy and have already been spayed. I am sad that my family abandoned me, but thank goodness I still have a chance to find a family who will love me forever. I was allowed to roam around the Vet clinic quite a bit. The folks at the clinic call me Angel because of my sweet and gentle personality. The Vet clinic worked really hard to find me a home but unfortunately no one was interested in making me a part of their family, so they gave CARA a call. The CARA folks agreed to take me but they are really full and they have so many cute kittens for adoption. It is hard competing with kittens. I get so excited when potential adopters come in the cattery area, but it is discouraging when the older cats like myself get overlooked for the kittens. If you are looking for a darling sweet lap-cat, please consider adopting me! Contact Name & Number for Questions about Adoption:

Meet Willow
Where kitty is located now: Paws Rescue My StoryI am so lucky to be here. When I was a tiny kitten, I was rescued by a group of kind construction workers who worked together to rescue me from a piece of construction equipment. I'm 4 months old now and the sweetest kitty ever. If you are looking for someone to hang out and watch football on Sundays with, I'm your dude. I am a big New Orleans Saints fan (can you tell by the picture). Contact Name & Number for Questions about Adoption:
