My owner got sick and is unable to care for me, so she had to take me to the shelter. I miss her so much, especially early in the mornings when she would wake up and I would sit in her lap while she enjoyed her cup of coffee. Ahhh, the good old days! I am a wonderful dog and good in a crate. I get a little possessive of my food, but nothing that can't be worked with. I will make an awesome companion...just come visit me and you will see! MARL My StoryWhen I was brought to MARL I was so naked that the staff didn't even know what color am! Now, only a few weeks later, thanks to a caring staff member, it has been determined that I have a flea allergy, and my coat is growing back beautifully. As long as I am kept flea-free (which is easy these days), I can maintain my lovely chocolate coat. I am healthy, heartworm free and waiting on YOU!!! Tragically, we lost our owner in a house fire and our "happily ever after" fairytale lives have been turned up side down. We miss our owner and our home. Since we have been together since we were pups, and now been through so much together, we would really like to be adopted together. We have adjusted well but would really like a comfy sofa to snuggle into while we get to know our new owner. Where cat is located now: Paws Rescue My StoryMan, am I cute or what? I'm just a tiny little thing right now, but I was fortunate enough to find a foster home so I'm not in the big cruel world all alone anymore. They say I'm about six weeks old now and will start getting all of my kitten shots shortly. I just love to be loved on and I love, love, love the dogs at my new place. ARF My StoryI was found living on the streets with no where to go and no food to eat. Thankfully, someone took me to ARF so that I could have a safe place to stay and good food to eat. While I am at least safe now, I still long for that loving family that I hear so much about. One day, someone will walk right in and straight up to me...and say, "I'd like to give THAT ONE A HOME!" Oh, how I look forward to that day. When there are so many dogs in a shelter, it is difficult to choose just one...but please come choose ME! I would love to have someone to take me on walks and to the park. As the days get cooler, it would be nice to run and play with my special someone. I am a small dog, happy and healthy with a beautiful Catahoula coat and a charming personality! I'll be looking for you to come and say, "That one!"
