Daisy needs a home!

My Story

I really need a foster or permanent home ASAP! My owner took me to the vet to be euthanized because she didn't want to be bothered with me anymore. Thankfully, the clinic realized my sweet and gentle nature and refused to do it, but did offer to take me and find me a new home. The clinic called a nice lady, Giselle, to assist in my rescue efforts. I am great with cats, dogs and kids...and the best part is - I am HOUSETRAINED! I am healthy and fully vetted, but I was born deaf. However, since I was born this way, I have learned to accommodate very well. I am very happy and playful! If my story doesn't pull at your heart-strings, I don't know what would. I am a very sweet girl in dire need of a savoir because the clinic can't keep me very long. Arrangements can likely be made for my transportation if necessary.

Smokey needs a home!

My Story

I am a big, lovable sweetheart that loves people, dogs, cats...just about everything!! I am about 16 or 18 years old so I still have lots of years left to love someone. I have very good feet and don't require shoes; however, I do have one problem... I'm blind in one eye and about 80% blind in the other. This doesn't stop me from getting around in my stall and my turnout paddock though...I know them by heart and would be able to get around fine on my own once I learn the ropes at my new forever home. I stand about 15 hands and am what they call a gaited horse, so my ride is quite smooth. I used to love to trail ride, but my owner gave up riding horses so I haven't been on a trail ride in several years. Even though I'm blind, I think I could still do it if I had a horse buddy to follow and an owner that I trusted...but we could work that out if you take me home with you. Please someone...be my new best friend!

Where I came from: My foster mom was out jogging one day in the Lake Trace neighborhood (Pear Orchard area). I decided to follow her home, and since I had no collar and my parents could not be found, my foster mom and dad have been taking care of me and trying to find a good home for me.

My Story

I am a very sweet-tempered dog and have a lot of energy. I enjoy living in the back yard, and I have my very own doghouse in case of bad weather. I love to go for long walks, play fetch, and chew on my rawhide bones. I'm very outgoing and have never met a stranger. Every person I meet is my friend and every dog I meet is my playmate. I will win your heart in no time at all-honest!

Where I came from/ How I came to the Shelter: My mom was a rescue cat at ARF and shortly after she was rescued, I was born. I am 6 months old now and still looking for the RIGHT person to come along. I am an AMAZING cat that has been raised in a foster home with dogs, cats, and kids and I LOVE them all.

My Story

I was originally adopted from MARL a while back and I had a WONDERUL home and I loved my sweet grandma! However, she has had to move to a nursing home and is unable to care for me anymore. So, her family has had to take me back to MARL. Now that I know the comforts of a warm, loving home, I really hope that someone will open their home to me again. I am a very sweet girl, healthy and housetrained, so how could you go wrong? Who wouldn't want to wake up looking at my sweet face every morning? I am very small and no trouble at all!
